This website is aimed to help the public, who are looking for a greyhound as a pet for their loving family home.  This website was formed to allow people who are searching for a greyhound as their next pet, to find one easily in their local area without searching through many different websites or sifting through many different canine breeds.  

Please publish as many details as you can, about all of the greyhounds in your care that are waiting for that special someone to come along and take them home.  The greyhounds on this website will be seen by a bigger audience, which will help them find their loving forever homes faster.  Enjoy using this website!!

You will receive an email to the registered email address for your rescue, when someone makes an enquiry about one of your greyhounds.  You can log in at any time to change photos or the details on any of your greyhounds profiles.  All changes or new profiles will be published to the public within 24 hour of you doing so.  For new rescues - the benefits of registering and listing your own greyhounds are:  Enquiries will be submitted directly to you by email via a form which is easy for the user to complete, AND you will have complete control of your greyhounds profiles to delete, edit and add/change photos and details at any time. 

This site is here to help you find loving pet homes for your retired greyhounds faster!  Shelters and rescue groups are often full, and free online advertising or newspaper advertisements are not always well seen.

Please use eGreyhound.com.au so rescue organisations or experienced foster carers can take your greyhound on and you can rest assured knowing any necessary vet work will be done (desex, microchip and vaccination) to give your greyhound the chance they deserve to find a final loving home as fast as possible. 

eGreyound.com.au advocates that all dogs rehomed to their final home through this website should be desexed, vaccinated and microchipped HOWEVER you are very welcome to list your greyhounds even if they have had no vet work done. 

Please plan ahead and forecast, in advance, when you will be needing a home for your greyhound and list them early to better your odds of finding them a loving pet home .  eGreyhound.com.au makes everyone a winner!

Large numbers of greyhounds may appear as being listed in the capital cities of each state.  When you make contact with the rescue group / greyhound owner about the greyhound you've fallen in love with, you can find out their exact location to arrange to meet your new best friend - they might be just around the corner from where you are!

HOW TO LIST A GREYHOUND

1.  Click on "REGISTER" on the menu on the left side of the page

2.  a)  Make up a username (this will identify you and you will use this to log in)

     b)  Make up a password (you must remember this so you can log in)

     c)  Enter your email address (this is the email address where all enquiries will go to if someone wants your dog)

     d)  You must enter your location (when you start typing it there will be a list of suburbs that come up automatically, click on the closest one to you)

3.  Check your email "in box".  Open the email you have just received.  Click on the "confirmation" link.

     YOU CAN NOW LOG IN AND LIST YOUR DOG ON WWW.EGREYHOUND.COM.AU

4.  Click on "Log in" on the menu on the left side of the pag

5.  Enter your "username" and "password"

6.  Click on "List New Greyhound"

7.  Fill in the boxes and "details" section and add up to 5 photos

8.  Click on Submit
